I can seriously relate to this post! lol

One particular occasion came to mind when I read your post … About two years ago, my husband and three young children went out driving for the day (just ‘cos) and we had a tape of Hi 5 songs playing in the car [great little songs, actually, and very catchy ]. After quite some time the kids all fell asleep, but neither my husband or I thought to turn off the music and either put the radio on or our own music until we were nearly home! We actually both realised at about the same moment, and laughed ourselves stupid over it!

(and I’m guilty of singing along to them at times, plus having the songs going around in my head when I’m trying to get to sleep at night!)

I’m also slowly getting myself out of the habit of making sure that “Playschool” is on in the afternoons when my youngest is at kindergarten! (force of habit, I tell myself – it feels “funny” being “kidless” twice a week! lol).

This illustration is spot on. And the title is a universal thought that all parentsat one time wonder. As a fellow dad and cartoonist, I can totally relate and have even been that guy in your illustration (still am). Well done and I wish you the very best with your new blog.
