Hmph. Mommy Bloggers. Daddy bloggeres. What about the REST of us who don't have kids?

Is there a "Crazy Uncle Blogger" category"?

If there was, I think I might be good enough to come in the top 15,000.

By the way, you and WriterDad are both pretty damned good. (Though sometimes I'm not convinced you aren't one and the same).

Dave,
You gave me a very good chuckle in the rationalization you used to place yourself in the Number 1 spot. The problem with lists like that is that they use statistics to determine #1 without taking into account the individual posts that the competitors write. Many of your entries would put you at the top of the list, for sure. Is it at all possible (in your mind) that the other dad bloggers might have had singular posts that (maybe, perhaps, perchance, of course) that just might have addressed an issue in a well-written manner that could have been construed by the (idiot) judges to have been better than yours?

To be placed #94 on the Almightydad Top dad Blog List is, indeed an honor when considering the volume of "daddy blogs" out there. The key word is "Almightydad." I say congratulations for being considered for the list in the first place!

(Who are these authorities anyway?)

Hey Dave,

I think the competition must have been rigged. Well, you know I'd have voted for you.

Just wait until they have a contest for the most creatively sarcastic humorous blogger, you will kick ass!

Best acceptance speech ever. For this post alone, you should figure in the top 10 next year. Keep some sordid company to be sure. :)

sweet and funny...and then the adorable photographs...I think you are right up near the top...

Our State's schools are #47 on the National LIST...that is because we do not follow the formula's for public schools and most don't do "No Child Left Behind" we are a fairly independent group here...that said most of our children do NOT go to private schools...most are in our wonderful PUBLIC schools and 49% of the public school kids graduate. The number does not really tell anything -
except in your case it made for a truly great post! Thank you

I'm at #80 but based on your criteria I should definitely vault to a higher (lower) number. Except that since I'm probably one of those blind monkey's of which you speak, I can't go all the way to #2.

I'll settle for jumping over those non-bloggers to #77. That sounds pretty lucky to me.

Geat post.
