Now THAT’S a bag of candy!
As you might recall, I declared Monday that M&M’s are evil because of their influence on my son.
Following that post, I decided that after the final snack-sized bag was gone, NO MORE M&M’s!
Yes, I was exercising my parental right to ban them until my son is over his chocolate-induced temper tantrums.
So, of course, the VERY DAY that we ran out of candy, my wife and son visited our elderly neighbor and brought him some birthday cake. The man gave my son what I can only describe as
THE BIGGEST F-ING BAG OF M&M’s EVER!

56 OUNCES! Who needs this much M&M’s?!
I’m pretty certain he doesn’t read my blog. If he does, then he is quite clearly the MOST EVIL MAN ALIVE!
Note: I did not take the photo of M&M’s with my son. As far as he knows, the candy is gone. And don’t any of you even think of telling him where the candy is.
Here’s some recent cuteness for your picture viewing pleasure.

I kowtow to the Bag. Whoa.
That would take me a few days to finish, for sure. A great thing for aversion therapy!

You can send me the bag of M&M’s and avoid family conflict.
I know newborns who don’t weigh that much!!
You know…umm…chocolate IS a vegetable…

I have had to give up M&M – especially since they added the blue ones….they were harder to give up than the smoking which was my main diet food and habit during Grad.School…..
I had one child who liked grapes better!
They should have a surgeon general’s warning on the bag – they truly are a drug in my book.
What lovely pictures – I am pretending that your cutie pie is a Grandchild because I do not think that pleasure will ever be mine
and he is just such a handsome cute fellow. Thank you for sharing.

My kids and husband keep trying to convince me that M&Ms are a vegetable and should therefore be a staple with all our meals. Not buying it.
Adorable pics.
Sandy – Thank you. And yes, it is.
Jen – Well, seeing as how “gonna eat” is future tense, er… um, well, I’m gonna eat some of them… what’s left.
Square Peg Guy – Yeah, the bag is rather intimidating. It says, “I am gonna kick your ass, you cannot resist me.”
Loran – Well, I could do that… (looks away innocently)
Kyddryn – Chocolate is a veggie? I guess I better get my nine daily servings in!
Patricia – Why the blue ones? As for Grandma Patricia, does that mean I can call you to babysit?
Susan – Thank you. And I’m afraid that Kyddryn disagrees with you and since she wrote first, I am sticking with her story – chocolate IS a veggie. Or as my son says when he disagrees with us, “It iiiizzzz” in a really cute way.
The Blue ones gave me almost an instant migraine headache which lasted 2 or 3 days…not worth it – for awhile I separated them out then said Naagh!
But of course, I’ll babysit !

aaawwww, your son is so darn sweet, who needs that sugar? BTW, where’s my little pony these days?
Oooh, he gets cuter and cuter!
They sell Skittles in bags that size now, too. It’s a little scary how no matter how big the bag set before him, my husband considers it one serving.

My son got hooked on those M&M’s too. I guess it’s better than getting him hooked on other candies which don’t claim to “melt in your mouth, not in your hands”. A candy bar, without a candy coated shell, can get kind of messy.
