  1. LOL You should make them e-books – they’re so Fractured Fairy Tales. You’d get some dingbat dissing you immediately for corrupting the children. LMAO

  2. Hi-freaking-larious. I really really want to read about Bob the Bear, would you mind sending me a copy? In fact if you sent me a sampler pack, maybe I could write a review and start a grass roots movement. It would be fun to show those publishers a thing or two!

  3. OMG, I am dying here.

I would so buy Bob the Bear. It would make a great stocking stuffer!

  4. Over-the-top funny! Just what I needed on a snowy April Monday morning. I can’t even decide which one I like best, although I do love the fact that the Clifford books never address the size of the dumps a dog that big would leave. It’s like we don’t want our kids to understand biology, let alone plain old reality!

  5. Clifford takes a dump should be published. It is an educational book. Kids should know that puppies are not all fun and games. Sometimes they take a dump on the carpet.

  6. Curious George is my daughter’s current fav. I will never be able to look at it in the same light again.
    Thanks for that.

  7. You know, I was afraid to look, for good reason. :D

Freakin’ hillarious, Dave. (See, you have to make the covers all pretty-like, and hide the offensive crap on the inside if you want to get published.)

You are a genius, my friend. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Thanks for the giggles.

  8. As an older kid, I did wonder about the size of Clifford’s poo piles. After all, I had to clean up after my biggish dog, and those were big enough!

  9. You are a funny guy! I am still laughing out loud…

    Thank you

I also laughed at a story on NPR this weekend….it was a story about a guy who condenses books to twitter sized comments – Pride and Prejudice = “I hate this guy. Now I love this fellow!”

    Sunshine and laughter abounding here!

  10. Super funny! Giggle. Snort. I almost wet my pants. Your family is fortunate to have someone with such levity and humor leading the pack.

  13. I would so buy these books for my kids. So what if the publishers reject them? Turn them into e-books (or self publish) and send each of those publishers an invitation to buy the books for their kids.
