Show us your Halloween costumes!
In the spirit of Halloween, and yesterday’s discussion on costumes, I’m putting out a call to all readers to show us your childhood Halloween pictures.
Yes, it’s a meme. But it’s a FUN meme (despite what kitty says)!
So dust off your old photo albums or call your parents and ask them to find the cutest or most embarrassing childhood photo of you in a Halloween costume. Once you find it, post it on your blog anytime this month. Once posted, swing by this post add a link to YOUR post in my comments section. On the week of Halloween I’ll post my own pic and a link to all participants’ blog posts. I’ll also post some of the best pics (with your permission of course).
If you don’t have a blog, feel free to contact me and let me know you’re interested and I’ll send you my email address so you can send me your photo(s).
If you don’t have pics of yourself, feel free to post pics of your children or even your pets (particularly cute cats or guinea pigs). The idea is to spread some good Halloweeny fun across the blogosphere.

You want a costume that is deep? My son will be “Winney the Pooh Bear Disguised as a Bee.”
He’s not old enough to appreciate the humor I find in that.
I’m not sure if I have any photos of my Halloween costumes. I’ll try to pull some up. If not, I’ll take one of this year for you.

Ah love the spooky site! But, having grown up in England in the 70s when Halloween wasn’t the hoopla it is today, I do not remember ever dressing up in costume for it even once! In fact, I can only remember one year having kids trick or treat at our door and then, it was a motly bunch of of neighbourhood kids covered in an old white bedsheet with eyes cut out, doing a pathetic, “Whooooooa!” Not worth of a treat I can assure you.
Here in the US it’s is BIG business and am enjoying the costume parade around our streets. This year my kids are a Monkey and a Star Trooper. If I ever get round to working out how to download my camera, I’ll post pics.

I don’t know if my best costume ever had a photo taken of it… I designed a horse costume for two people out of a brown blanket, brown yarn, and brown paper bags. It was a hoot! My brother and I were paraded through people’s homes for all the adults to look at.
