Link(s) of the week – the Letterman edition

Rolling Stone’s comedy issue is out. Inside are some great mini-interviews with various comedians on how they got their starts and other stuff. The featured interview is a one on one with David Letterman and makes for a great read (note: the website only features an abbreviated version of the interview). There is also the New York Times piece (from that same interview) where Letterman dishes on NBC’s decision to replace Leno with Conan. If you’re feeling nostalgic for some old school Letterman, well, I didn’t see anything from the 80′s when he was in his prime, but you can check out the magazine’s interview with him from 1993 or this one from 1996.

Friday Funnies Aug. 29

Each Friday I will bring you the Friday Funnies, comprised of funny comics, images, photos I either made or found elsewhere on the web. I’ll also post links to other stuff I found on the web during the week. If you like the concept, I’ll continue it each week.

And while I have you here, thanks to everyone who is reading the blog, posting comments and sending me email. I appreciate you helping me get this site off the web.

I’m so hungry, I could cry

This photo is one of several funny and cute pictures of cats from Flickr user, ehpien. I wish my cats were this cute. If the above photo were of my one of my cats, the next shot would show hairballs spewing from her mouth, as she seems to do everyday. Some great photos.
